VIVID: The LGBTQ Center OC's Youth and Young Adult Program is hosting a series of youth leadership and community engagement opportunities for LGBTQIA+ youth and allies ages 14-24 living in Orange County. We are currently recruiting on an ongoing basis, inviting youth and students to participate in weekly leadership meetings, support planning various components of activities and events that they would like to see, and make their visions into reality! Meetings are every Tuesday afternoon at the LGBTQ Center OC Time: 5:30-7:00 pm, with in-person meetings and the opportunity to participate virtually. Address: 1605 N. Spurgeon Street, Santa Ana, 92701 Parking is available inside our lot or on the street. No prior experience is necessary! OUTlet is intended to create a safe space for youth to talk about mental health issues, create healthy relationships with others, and learn tools to understand, manage, and decrease symptoms of mental health. This group will teach youth how to build insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and learn how to communicate their needs and wants in a healthy assertive manner. Lastly, with an emphasis on maladaptive coping skills including self-medicating with substances, isolating, or engaging in risky behaviors, youth will learn to develop coping skills needed to manage symptoms on a long-term basis. OUtlet meets virtually and in person every Tuesday at 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
The goals of this group are: to create a safe, comfortable place to express feelings, exploration of self through group process and reflection, enhancing sense of self through awareness and acceptance, and to support and be supported. Ages 18 and over.
This group is a safe space for individuals of all Asian and Pacific Islander descent (ages 18+) to meet and freely discuss experiences being Queer/API and what that means. We bring up current events, as well as help each other process things that may be happening in their community. We ask that all participants treat one another respectfully no matter what their views may be on different topics.
Study With Pride is a tutoring group for LGBTQQIA+ youth. Youth are invited to stop by for homework help and tutoring on topics, such as math, science, and writing. Everyone is welcomed to also hang out, socialize and take a break from school! We also offer a discord server for youth to hang out, post memes, and ask for help with school work, for more information contact the facilitator.

The Parent's Processing Group is a therapeutic group where parents can work together on processing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with their children coming out, being in the LGBTQ community, gain peer insight from other parents, and reflect on difficulties based on parenting a child in the community. This is a free and open group for any parents who are interested in joining

Processing therapy group for transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, genderfluid, intersex, and androgynous individuals. This group provides individuals with a safe space to voice and process feelings, issues, and thoughts unique to their experiences. Please email facilitators if you would like to attend this Zoom meeting.
