We believe that sexuality is part of general mental health. This group is a brave space where individuals can explore their feelings, thoughts, experiences, and questions related to intimacy, relationships, and sexuality. In this space, we will engage in honest discussions surrounding a variety of sex-related content such as lack of confidence, shame and stigma, expectations, fantasies, and intimacy dynamics. VIVID- Validating and Including Voices in Diversity (ages 14-24)

VIVID: A youth leadership group that focuses on community engagement, empowerment, and advocacy. We invite LGBTQIA+ youth, students, and allies ages 14-24 who are passionate about creating positive change within their schools and communities. VIVID provides a supportive space for members to develop leadership skills, collaborate on community-focused projects, and advocate for LGBTQIA+ inclusion and representation. Through VIVID, participants engage in various activities, including organizing and hosting community events and group activities. The group focuses on mentorship, peer support, and education, offering its members the opportunity to build confidence and leadership. Meets in-person on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00 pm at the LGBTQ Center OC. Zoom option is available for youth who want to participate virtually. Event Series OUTlet

OUTlet (ages 18-26)

OUTlet is intended to create a safe space for youth to talk about mental health issues, create healthy relationships with others, and learn tools to understand, manage, and decrease symptoms of mental health. This group will teach youth how to build insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and learn how to communicate their needs and wants in a healthy assertive manner. Lastly, with an emphasis on maladaptive coping skills including self-medicating with substances, isolating, or engaging in risky behaviors, youth will learn to develop coping skills needed to manage symptoms on a long-term basis. OUtlet meets virtually and in person  every Tuesday at 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

Event Series API LGBTQ+ GROUP

This group is a safe space for individuals of all Asian and Pacific Islander descent (ages 18+) to meet and freely discuss experiences being Queer/API and what that means. We bring up current events, as well as help each other process things that may be happening in their community. We ask that all participants treat one another respectfully no matter what their views may be on different topics.

Thrive with Pride (ages 13-18)

Study With Pride is a tutoring group for LGBTQIA+ youth. Youth are invited to stop by for homework help and tutoring on topics, such as math, science, and writing. Everyone is welcomed to also hang out, socialize and take a break from school! We also offer a discord server for youth to hang out, post memes, and ask for help with school work, for more information contact the facilitator.

Quartz (ages 13-18)

Quartz is a social drop-in group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and allied youth ages 13-18. Three adult mentors facilitate group activities and discussions to provide a safe and supportive environment, where youth can make lifelong connections with their peers and develop a positive sense of identity. On a monthly basis, we invite guest speakers from different community organizations to speak in order to increase the educational component of our program. Youth are able to learn about different topics, such as STI and HIV prevention, relationships and setting boundaries, consent, dating, sexual self-care, gender identity, coming out, advocacy, empowerment, student rights, bullying and harassment, drugs and alcohol, mental health and suicide prevention.
