LGBTQ CENTER OC RECEIVES GRANTS FROM THE JOHNSON FAMILY FOUNDATION FOR MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMS
The Johnson Family Foundation has announced that the following LGBTQ Community Centers have each been awarded a grant dedicated to increasing the variety and quality of mental health services they provide:
Affirmations Ferndale, MI
The Attic Youth Center Philadelphia, PA
The LGBTQQ Center of Long Beach Long Beach, CA
The LGBTQ Center Orange County Santa Ana, CA
Rainbow Community Center of Contra Costa County Concord, CA
Rainbow Center Tacoma, WA
Ruth Ellis Center Detroit, MI
The grants were awarded to support specific capacity building projects of already existing mental health programs, and mark the fourth year that funding has been made available from the Foundation. “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with CenterLink to help build the capacity of centers across the country to deliver much needed services to LGBTQ communities,” said Andrew Lane, Johnson Family Foundation Executive Director.
The LGBTQ Center OC will use the funds to implement an electronic medical records system, enabling our Mental Health Department to serve a wider array of clients.
